Germany

We only have a few pictures of Germany besides the temple because most of our travel through the country was in the dark.
What we did see of the countryside was beautiful.
We are hoping that someday we can go back and see more.
This is the Pension that we stayed in the night before going to the temple. They provided a wonderful breakfast the following morning.
After the temple we went to this restaurant for lunch. We had great fun trying to interpret the menu, which of course was in German. We were grateful to Heather and Kim who remembered some of the German they studied in high school and for Barunka's friend, Hana who could also read and speak some German.
The food was so good....another reason we hope to visit again.
Just a couple blury pictures of road signs to document that
we really were there!

A beautiful country that reminded us of Oregon.
These windmills were awesome. Our estimate is that each blade was at least 100 feet across.
